Introducing the Client Page
You can now add clients manually and manage each client's details from a dedicated client page.
Manually Add a Client
- Add a client – enter the client type and name, assign a staff member and set whether the client is in pre-commencement.
- Save and Start Onboarding – go straight from adding a client into the onboarding workflow.
Client Details
Client information is grouped into four panels. Select Edit on a panel to update it without affecting the others.
| Panel | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Personal / Entity Details | Name, identity, tax and registration details. Sensitive details such as date of birth and TFN are masked. |
| Contact Details | Addresses, email and phone. |
| Group & Assignment | Client group, assigned staff member, review dates, internal notes and custom labels. |
| Services & Delivery Channels | Pre-commencement and service engagement status. |
- Profile completeness – the sidebar shows how complete the client's profile is and how many fields are missing.
- Next review due – shows in amber when due within 30 days and in red when overdue.
- Internal notes – add notes that never appear in client-facing output.

Client Onboarding Workflow
Capture the information required by AUSTRAC's onboarding forms through a guided four-step workflow. Start it when adding a client, or from Actions on the Clients screen or client page. The workflow supports eight client types.
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Details – complete the client's details. Fields shown depend on the client type. |
| 2 | Related Parties – add representatives, key position holders and beneficial owners. |
| 3 | Documents – attach supporting documents. This step is optional and won't stop you progressing. |
| 4 | Designated Services & Delivery Channel – select the services and delivery channels from your Risk Assessment, then select Generate. |
- Save for Later – save your progress and return to onboarding later.
- Onboarding document – an onboarding document is generated when you complete the workflow.
- Next steps – after selecting Generate, set the client to Active, set them to Active and start CDD straight away, or send the onboarding for review.
Initial Client Due Diligence
The Initial CDD workflow is now part of the client page. Start it once a client's onboarding is complete and the client is Active.
- Initial CDD Record – generate a document capturing the client's identification, ML/TF risk assessment, identity verification, related party screening and final determination.
- Verification results – the record includes either your manually verified documents or the BGLiD verification results.
