Platform
A personalised landing page you see on login, giving you an at-a-glance view of what needs your attention. The Dashboard is fully customisable — show or hide widgets and drag them to reorder.
Widgets included at launch:
- AML/CTF setup checklist — tracks completion of Firm Profile, Compliance Officer appointment, and AML/CTF Program build
- Documents awaiting your review — shows documents sent to you personally for review, with a direct link to the review modal
- Upcoming document reassessments — firm-wide view of documents due or overdue for reassessment, with a days-remaining/overdue counter
- Personnel training — donut chart of firm-wide AML training completion across active staff
- Your training — your own assigned training modules and their completion status
Additional widgets covering Customer Due Diligence, Ongoing Monitoring, and Reporting will be added in later phases.
Role-based access control that determines what each user can see and do in Firm Verify. Three roles will be available:

| Account Owner | Full edit access to all screens. Manages SSO role mappings in Settings. Only one Account Owner per firm. |
| Administrator | Full edit access to all screens. Can invite users and assign Administrator or View Only roles. Cannot assign or remove the Account Owner role. |
| View Only | Read-only access to all screens. Cannot create, edit, or delete any records. |
Role assignments are managed through the BGL user Manager. Role changes take effect on next login.
Search across your entire Firm Verify workspace — documents, clients, users, and settings — from a single search bar in the top navigation.
A bell icon in the top navigation bar will give all users real-time in-app notifications for key events in the AML/CTF workflow, with an unread count badge and a dropdown panel.
Events that will trigger a notification:
- A document is sent for review
- A review is cancelled
- A document is approved
- A document is rejected
- A suspicious file is detected on upload
- An outbound email fails to send
All notifications are broadcast to all active users in your firm. Per-user notification preferences and outbound email or push delivery will be added in a later phase.
A tamper-proof, chronological log of every create, edit, and delete action performed across Firm Verify. Account Owners and Administrators will be able to access the Audit Trail from Settings > Audit Log.
Key capabilities:
- Filter by user, module/screen, and date range
- View field-level change detail — what changed, who changed it, and exactly when
- Immutable records — entries cannot be edited or deleted by any user
- Records retained for a minimum of 7 years to meet AML/CTF Act obligations
An in-app announcement modal that highlights key new features and improvements each time a new version of Firm Verify is released. A release highlights button will also let you manually view what changed since your last session.
Support
Direct support options accessible from within Firm Verify, including live chat and the ability to book a support call with the BGL team.
In the meantime, use the Feedback button in the top navigation bar to get in touch with the BGL team.
Program
When you send a Program document for review, the nominated reviewer will receive an email notification with a direct link allowing them to approve or reject the document — without needing to log in to Firm Verify.
How it will work:
- You send a Program document for review from Firm > Program
- The reviewer receives an email (using your firm's default or custom email template)
- The reviewer clicks Approve or Reject directly in the email
- The document status updates automatically in Firm Verify and all active firm users are notified via the Notifications bell
You can customise the email your reviewer receives under Settings > Email Templates.
When you complete the Generate Program wizard and select Save and Export, Firm Verify will produce a single combined PDF report containing all selected components in order:
- Cover page
- Risk Assessment
- Policy
- Process
The report format follows the same output style as the individual Risk Assessment, Policy, and Process reports.
