Overview
The Document History panel gives you a read-only record of everything that has happened to a document, from creation through to review and approval. Use it to check who did what and when, supporting your AUSTRAC record-keeping obligations and giving you evidence of document governance during reviews or audits.

Instructions
1. Select the three dots under the Action Column for the document you want to review from the Program tab.
2. Select Document History.
Note: This option is available regardless of the document's status, and to any user with edit or view access.
3. The Document History panel opens, listing every event for the document with the most recent event at the top.
4. Each event shows:
- The user's full name, shown as it appeared at the time of the event
- The date and time, shown in your browser's date format and timezone
Understanding Event Types
| Event | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Document Created | A document is uploaded or generated and saved as a draft, or generated and saved for later |
| Document Updated | The title, version, summary of changes, an attachment, or the next review date is changed |
| Review Requested | The document is sent for review |
| Review Rejected | A review is rejected |
| Review Approved | A review is approved |
| Review Cancelled | A review is cancelled |
| Document Marked as Approved | A document is uploaded and marked as reviewed with an Approved status, or a review completes with the current user as reviewer |
| Marked as Current | The document is marked as the current version |
| Marked as Non-Current | The document is marked as no longer current |
Depending on the event, the entry may also show the document's title, version, summary of changes, attached files, next review date, message to reviewers, or reviewer comments. Any field left blank at the time (for example, no summary of changes) is left out of the entry.
